Polynesian Blue, the International Airline of Samoa, said it will begin advertising its air fares inclusive of all taxes and charges at point of sale in Samoa from tomorrow.
Until now the airline has shown the cost of its air fares separately from taxes and charges in all advertising in Samoa.

Polynesian Blue’s General Manager Commercial, Adrian Hamilton-Manns, said the move to fully inclusive fares brings the airline’s advertising into line with the New Zealand and Australian markets.

“In New Zealand and Australia we have been advertising fully inclusive Polynesian Blue fares for some time,” he said.
“We have also been in discussion with the Samoa government, who have indicated a preference for air fares to be advertised in Samoa inclusive of all taxes and charges.”

Mr Hamilton-Manns said that fully inclusive fares make it easier for travellers to see, at a glance, the total advertised price.

Polynesian Blue is currently offering Meaalofa one-way sale fares from Apia to the following destinations:
• Apia to Auckland from 299 tala* - one way including taxes and charges
• Apia to Brisbane from 529 tala* - one way including taxes and charges
• Apia to Sydney from 529 tala* - one way including taxes and charges

Polynesian Blue is the joint venture airline between Virgin Blue Group and the Government of Samoa. It has five flights a week between Auckland and Apia, three flights a week between Sydney and Apia, and one flight a week between Brisbane and Apia.
